55 degrees in IL in January? We are sooooo going to pay for this later on..... But right now we're just grateful that we're making fewer trips to the propane dealer! Of course, it helps that we unearthed our 100# tanks to use instead of those puny little 30# ones!
Aside from trying to keep warm, we now have a functioning chain saw and have made inroads into the piles of potential firewood. Hubby even climbed a tree and dropped a huge maple limb that had been offending him. Of course, it took out the lights on the side of the bin, but I think it missed everything else!
For once, I listened to the financial experts when they told me to make weekly payments on our mortgage and we'd get ahead. Sure enough, I checked the other day and I'm 2 months ahead on our RV mortgage! :) So, I can make the insurance payments while he's on unemployment and not have to worry about the RV payments. It's all good.
I took the grandson to see Chronicles last nite. We were both amazed that it was 2 hours plus! I guess that is the sign of a pretty good movie, when it only feels like you just started watching but it's been a couple of hours....
